Telemedicine and Medical Artificial Intelligence

Telemedicine is a relatively new concept, and in the world of the internet, it develops with lightning speed. 

with the rapid changes in technology over the last few decades, telemedicine has transformed into a complex integrated service used in hospitals, homes, private physician offices, and other healthcare facilities.

 It is the technology of remote monitoring, diagnosis, and sometimes treatment, without having to be co-located with the patient.

Telemedicine can be used to give any hospital or medical facility instant access to medical experts, specialists, and more education and information. It is the way to share all resources immediately with any hospital or clinic in the world.

Indeed, Artificial Intelligence in healthcare has improved many telemedicine aspects revolving around broadband technology and electronic data to assist and coordinate remote healthcare services. 

AI takes over the whole chain of clinical practice and patient-focused care by providing models of care and sustenance.

One of healthcare’s primary goals is to collect and analyze data, including medical records and history. AI conducts data management and digital automation to provide more reliable access.

 Applying AI in systemizing the retrieval and analysis of data also addresses the difficulties encountered in-hospital procedures. 

A study by the American College of Physicians states that doctors spend 50 percent of their time on EHR and desk work.

 So they came up with the conclusion that Medical Artificial Intelligence can manage patient records effectively by replacing the manual process of examining the patients’ vitals with a chat interface a questionnaire, recording it in storage, and sending the results to the doctor, speeding up the process.

 This allows faster sending of prescriptions and other information directly to the patient as they can send photos or videos directly for examination.

By looking at the multitude of tasks that AI can complete through the realm of telemedicine it is without a doubt that AI is not only innovative in medicine but will soon become a requirement as our society is evolving.
